A Joyful, purposeful year
At Milton Academy, Kindergarten is a joyful and purposeful year that nurtures children’s growing sense of self while helping them become confident members of a caring learning community.
Through daily routines, play, and shared experiences, students learn to collaborate, contribute, and build meaningful relationships while developing foundational academic skills.
Individualized Instruction
With small class sizes and individualized instruction, teachers support each child’s unique learning journey through research-based literacy instruction and hands-on, inquiry-driven math experiences. Students also explore identity, belonging, and community through rich interdisciplinary studies and classes in art, music, environmental science, Spanish, physical education, library, woodworking, and technology. Above all, Kindergarten at Milton celebrates what children know instinctively: play is essential to learning, creativity, and growth.
