Confidence and connection
At Milton Academy, Grade 4 is a year of growing independence, confidence, and connection.
Students strengthen their time management, organization, and sense of responsibility as they begin moving from their homeroom to other classes and take greater ownership of their learning through online homework and calendars. Weekly affective education classes help students build character, practice problem-solving, and learn how to be thoughtful “upstanders” who advocate for what is right.
Asking Big Questions
Guided by big questions like “How did the world begin?” and “How is the world interconnected?”, Grade 4 students deepen their curiosity about the world around them. They build confidence through class presentations, strengthen their public-speaking skills, and learn the foundations of digital citizenship while using iPads in a one-to-one environment.
