Bus Service/Transportation

The rear of a yellow school bus is in the foreground, with lush green trees and a cloudy blue sky in the background.

Milton Academy Bus Options

Milton Academy provides convenient transportation options for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. We work together with our transportation contractor to offer routes and stops that optimize our service to student riders and their families, with safety, accessibility and punctuality as our main priorities. With bus routes serving communities throughout Greater Boston and the South Shore, our transportation program helps students arrive safely, reliably, and ready to learn. Ridership is dependent on following Milton’s Bus Code of Conduct.

A street corner with traffic lights in the foreground leads to a cityscape with a prominent clock tower and modern skyscrapers in the background.

Service for Both Daily and Occasional Rides

Our busing service is available to all K–12 students for a fee—families may opt for round-trip or one-way (morning/afternoon) and may register by semester or for a full year. Buses arrive on campus by 8 a.m. daily and depart at 4 p.m. for all students. For Middle and Upper School students, all routes also offer an early evening (6 p.m.) departure, allowing them to fully participate in school life. In addition, one-way, single-day passes are available for students who only need the bus occasionally.
