Sustainability

Sustainability is a priority at Milton Academy, recognized campus-wide and fostered daily.

It informs our decision-making and actions around our school’s infrastructure, resource use, curriculum and communication. We believe a commitment to sustainability means acting—as individuals and as an institution—in ways that together demonstrate environmental stewardship, promote social responsibility and engaged citizenship, and ensure economic viability on Earth now and into the future.

Students here have a range of opportunities to become involved in Milton’s commitment to sustainability. From Green Proctors assigned in the residential houses to the Lorax Club dedicated to environmental policies to our Sustainability Board that focuses on environmental initiatives, there are options for all who want to take action–and make a difference.
