In Milton's Lower School, learning is joyful, purposeful, and full of possibilities.

Every day, students are encouraged to wonder, create, explore, and grow as they build a strong academic foundation that prepares them for a lifetime of learning.

Our teachers know that children learn best when they feel known, supported, and inspired. In classrooms filled with energy and curiosity, students develop confidence as readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, artists, and problem-solvers. Whether they're performing on stage, creating artwork, conducting an experiment, or collaborating with classmates on a group project, Lower School students learn to embrace challenges, celebrate discovery and find joy in the process.

As part of Milton's K-12 community, students benefit from a rich continuum of learning and access to exceptional resources while enjoying the warmth and close relationships of a dedicated elementary school. And with Boston just minutes away, the city's museums, cultural institutions, and innovation hubs become an extension of the classroom, opening doors to even more opportunities for exploration and growth.
